Boston College

May 13, 2021

Dear Undergraduate and Graduate/Professional Students:

Boston College will host its second Pfizer vaccination clinic next week in Conte Forum. The clinic’s hours are as follows:

  • Mon. May 17 from 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
  • Tue. May 18 from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • Wed. May 19 from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

All students who received their first Pfizer vaccination three weeks ago on campus, or any time prior to April 26-28, are eligible to obtain their second vaccination next week at BC.  If you already scheduled your appointment at the time of your first vaccination in Conte Forum, you do not need to take any additional steps.

If you obtained your first Pfizer vaccine off-campus and seek a second dose, please register under the Vaccinations tab in the BC Check application.  Regardless of where you obtained the first vaccination, you must bring your vaccination card to Conte Forum to receive your second-dose validation.

Those students interested in obtaining a first Pfizer vaccine may also schedule a vaccination for next week.  Register under the Vaccinations tab in the BC Check application to schedule a vaccination.  Please note that if you are planning to receive your first dose with us next week, you will need to obtain your second Pfizer dose at a Walgreens or CVS Pharmacy, or through your state and local vaccination sites.

As you know, Boston College will require all students, faculty, and staff to be fully vaccinated (with FDA-approved vaccines) against COVID-19 before participating in any on-campus activity related to the 2021-2022 academic year. Exceptions will be granted for legitimate religious and medical reasons.  University Health Services and University Mission and Ministry will review and consider all student exemption appeals on a case-by-case basis.  To request an exemption, please fill out the COVID-19 Vaccination Exemption Request Form, which can be found here.

Once you are fully vaccinated, upload your vaccination card in the University Health Services Agora portal by following the steps below:

  1. Select the IMMUNIZATION ICON on the Health Services portal.  Choose via the “required” drop down the vaccination name, and record the vaccination dates.  Click SUBMIT to save.
  2. Take a picture of the vaccination card or document and save it on your computer or phone to upload into the Agora Health Services Portal (https://services.bc.edu), found under OTHER SERVICES.
  3. Choose the UPLOAD ICON and upload the picture under the appropriate vaccine name (Janssen, Moderna, Pfizer) in the drop-down menu (Note: the drop down menu is below the list of "documents available to upload"). Click SELECT FILE, choose the file that you are uploading and hit the UPLOAD button.

Thank you again for helping to keep our campus safe.  For any questions about the vaccination clinic, please reach out to covidvaccination@bc.edu

Sincerely,
