SYNOPSIS:

In the masterful hands of playwright, Sarah Ruhl, EURYDICE is an imaginative modern re-telling of the myth of Orpheus from the perspective of his wife. Dying on her wedding day, Eurydice journeys to the Underworld where she reunites with her father who must re-teach her human language and help her remember the past. Orpheus, in his grief, resolves to go to the Underworld to find his beloved. Eurydice is then faced with the choice of returning to earth with her husband or staying in the Underworld with her father.
