I majored in Western History and Philosophy at Yonsei University, Seoul, Republic of Korea. I accomplished my M.A. in Western Philosophy at the same school. My master's thesis is on a phenomenological interpretation of Walter Benjamin's early philosophy. I am interested in the intersection between Critical Theory and phenomenology. In terms of topics, I am giving a special attention to the cultural expression of idealogy and theory of alienation. While reading philosophers from Frankfurt school, I am also engaging with the French Marxist tradition originating from 1960s.
