Dermot Moran was invited to deliver the Hetian Honorary Lecture Series, at the Guangzhou and Zhuhai campuses of Sun Yat-sen University, China, from the 24th of June to the 7th of July, 2019. The Hetian Honorary Lecture Series is organized by the Department of Philosophy, Sun Yat-sen University. It is a highly recognized scholarly forum that invites leading philosophers world-wide and share their original and innovative thoughts. Professor Moran gave six public lectures in the 2019 Hetian series, under the general title of Key Concepts in Phenomenology. The six original lectures (on Intentionality, Perception, Embodiment, Empathy, Intersubjectivity, and the Life-World) were translated into Chinese, and will appear as a monograph published by a major Chinese academic publishing house. During his visit, Professor Moran was also made an Honorary Professor of Sun Yat-sen University.
