BC Attends The Collegium Phaenomenologicum

Boston College was well represented this July at the 43rd annual meeting of The Collegium Phaenomenologicum, Cittá di Castello, Umbria, Italy. Collegium, founded in 1976, is an annual meeting of faculty and participants to discuss and learn about phenomenology. Founding members include John Sallis, Hans-Georg Gadamer, Werner Marx, William Richardson, David Krell, and others. This year’s theme was “Aristotle: Phusis, Psuchê, and Anthropos,” and courses were delivered by William NcNeill (DePaul University), Alejandro Vigo (Universidad de Navarra), and Claudia Baracchi (Universitá degli Studi di Milan-Bicocca). Attendees from Boston College include (from left to right) Eve Rabinoff (PhD 2013), Maggie Labinski (MA 2007), Shane Ewegen (PhD 2011), Joseph Lemelin (BA 2006), Jerry Sallis, John Sallis (F. J.
