  • M.Ed. in Curriculum & Instruction

    Enhance your knowledge of curriculum, policy, and pedagogy by delving into educational philosophy and the underlying political and social aspects of teaching and learning. This non-licensure degree allows students to tailor their degree by pursuing a concentration in areas like Catholic Education, Disability, Special Education, and Inclusion, or Multilingual Literacy. Students interested in working in urban, Catholic settings can join the Urban Catholic Teacher Corps (UCTC) program as part of their experience.

  • M.Ed. in Early Childhood Education

  • M.Ed. in Secondary Education

    Prepare to teach students in grades 8-12 or ages 11-18 in one of the following disciplines: Biology, Chemistry, English, History, Mathematics, or Physics. Our program will lead to 8-12 licensure in STEM (i.e., science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) or 5-12 licensure in humanities (i.e., English and History). Students interested in working in urban settings can apply to join the Donovan Urban Teaching Scholars program.

  • M.Ed. in Special Education for Moderate Support Needs

    Prepare to serve children with disabilities ranging from attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder to mild developmental disabilities in a fully inclusive classroom. The Lynch School also offers a variety of dual licensure master's programs in special education, combining a general education program with special education. Students interested in working in urban settings can apply to join the Donovan Urban Teaching Scholars program.

    Learn to design effective learning environments that reflect global perspectives for a diverse student population. This non-licensure, fully online program is among the first curriculum and instruction programs in the U.S. to implement inclusive teaching practices into curriculum development.
