Cynthia Cunningham is the Project Operations Coordinator at the Center for Digital Innovation and Learning (CDIL). She works closely across CDIL teams to ensure the successful design, development, and implementation of online courses, digital innovation projects, and faculty development courses.

With over a decade of experience in event management, program operations, and office administration, Cynthia has worked across various sectors, including higher education, supporting startup communities, and religious institutions. Prior to joining CDIL, she served as the Office Manager at First Parish Church in Dorchester, where she streamlined operations, built strong partnerships with community organizations—including The City School, Boston Children’s Chorus, and the Resource Organizing Project—and expanded the church’s rental program.

She has also held roles at Sarah Lawrence College, Bard College, and MIT Sloan. Cynthia is passionate about fostering collaboration, supporting sustainability, advancing the circular economy, and using education as a tool to bridge equity and learning gaps across diverse settings.

In her personal time, Cynthia designs sustainable jewelry by transforming discarded or deconstructed materials into unique, handcrafted pieces of wearable art. Her creations prioritize environmental responsibility by repurposing items that would otherwise go to waste, blending creativity with sustainability. She is also a member of Voices Rising, a Boston-based community choir.
