I am mainly interested in ancient philosophy, specifically with the question of how to live the good life in the present day based off the values included in ancient philosophy. I am also interested in philosophy of art, coming from a theatrical background as well, where the questions of the value of art and the ethics behind certain forms of media come into play (i.e. the art being separated from the artist, a classic yet controversial question). I'm primarily an Aristotelian, specifically interested in the Nicomachean Ethics and the question of how to live the 'good life' and how we may reach eudaimonia, or at least some form of happiness and hope for better lives in this struggling socio-political sphere of America. My personal interests include sewing, designing costumes, and working as wardrobe (costuming) for the theatre industry.
