Susan Bruce honored by Council for Exceptional Children

The Council for Exceptional Children’s Division on Visual Impairments and Deafblindness (DVIDB) gave its 2022 DVIDB Distinguished Service Award to Professor Susan Bruce, to recognize her leadership and commitment to the field of education and rehabilitation of students with visual impairments and deafblindness. Bruce was also featured in an online WebMD.com news article debunking the 2020 Helen Keller TikTok denial meme.
