Unity through art

Jamaal Bonnette, M.Ed. ’21 (Educational Leadership and Policy), is a painter and a member of Power of Art, an artist collective from Brockton, Mass., which creates public art projects that respond to racism in law enforcement. Power of Art collaborated with TB12, Tom Brady’s merchandise and personal training company, for a social justice-themed design competition where any Brockton-based artist could submit designs for a TB12 shirt that incorporated the concepts of empowerment, social justice, determination, and/or Brockton pride.
