Shah’s approach, as she leads the business-to-business (B2B) segment, focuses on building partnerships with colleges and universities. The goal is to set up Adapt Wellness centers on campuses across India, providing students with necessary counseling services.

“My interest in psychology started in eleventh grade, thanks to an inspiring psychology teacher who truly made me fall in love with the subject,” said Shah about how she got her start. It was that high school teacher who guided her toward a profession in mental health as a way to fulfill her passion for making a meaningful impact on people’s lives. That sparked my desire to pursue this line of work and make it my career. ”
This work led her to Boston College’s Lynch School of Education and Human Development, where she’s pursuing an M.A. in Mental Health Counseling.
After just one semester at the Lynch School, Shah said she’s never felt more inspired and confident in her ability to provide mental health support to others.
“The personal growth, introspection, and understanding of concepts like attunement and regulation have been transformative,” she said. “These insights have made me feel much more confident in my abilities and have motivated me to bring positive structural changes to Adapt Wellness. I’m now equipped with a deeper understanding of how to integrate theory with practical application in ways I hadn’t considered before.”
