

Dr. Gregory is Professor of Nursing at the Connell School of Nursing at Boston College, and Research Faculty in the Department of Pediatric Newborn Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Dr. Gregory’s program of research is focused on gut health, nutrition, and growth outcomes of the preterm infant. She leads the Baby Biome Project, a NICU data and specimen biorepository. As the PI of this project and the Boston Baby Biome Lab, Dr. Gregory contributes her expertise in neonatal health, microbiome science, gut health, and management of large data and specimen repositories. In particular, she oversees all specimen handling and DNA extraction from biological samples. Dr. Gregory works extensively with interdisciplinary collaborators, and has completed both human subjects and animal model research, with the goal of discovery at the intersection of nutrition, gut health, and immune mediated outcomes during pregnancy and early childhood.
