I am a scientist interested in innovative solutions to environmental challenges at scale with a focus on improving the health of communities and environment. A highly collaborative leader, I partner with others to help develop strategies and approaches - connecting the local and global.
I help to research, design and map the interrelationships between the social and economic relationships of communities within their environment. I design participatory research and learning experiences for community members and students, including online experiences. I find great value and importance in working on about programs that serve vulnerable communities and those that bridge observations from a variety of knowledge bases with evidence-based decision making.
