Jeffrey Bears has over twelve years of experience holding positions in large law firms as well as for-profit, non-profit and academic institutions. From technology transactions to commercial agreements, industry collaborations to strategic transactions, university collaborations to outside general counsel activities, Jeff specializes in transactional work in the health and wellness, life sciences, biotechnology, and technology industries.

Jeff has served as a mentor for the Harvard Initiative for Learning and Teaching (HILT) – a program where current Harvard University graduate students form teams to create innovation and entrepreneurship in the field of education. He has also served on the President’s Advisory Board at Bishop Feehan High School and has served on the Board of Directors of the Young Entrepreneurs Network. He has also taught a variety of courses at the undergraduate and graduate level in law, mathematics, statistics, and business.
