The goal of the book is to offer resources for present-day Catholics to appropriate positively their membership of the Church, while also promoting fruitful engagement with today's world. To accomplish its goal, the book proceeds via theological anthropology, Christology, and theology of the Spirit to identify possibilities for the realization of the church's synodal dimension
