My research focuses on sex abuse in Medieval and Early Modern Europe, empirical authority through narrative writing in the Querelle des Femmes, literary history, and biographical history.

Jillian Chamberlin is a student of Early Modern History with specific interests in European women, gender, and sexuality. She aims to make the histories of marginalized peoples accessible (and engaging) to everyone.
She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and a minor in Anthropology from the University of Denver. She graduated from Chapman University with a Master of Arts in Teaching in 2020 and then worked as a history teacher for four years.
