With a background in high throughput omic technologies, oncology/metabolic disease/rare disease/neurological disorders therapeutic development, clinical biomarker and assay development, and informatics I have pioneered new avenues for drug discovery. As the VP of Platform and Translational Sciences at BPGbio as well as visiting scholar in the Biology Department at Boston College, I have the joy of shaping the scientific strategy and ability to mentor young scientists toward their goal in making an impact on human health. My research has contributed to new therapeutic modalities in metabolic diseases, discovery of novel lipokines that have potent biological function, spatial omic technologies that can track metabolites and lipids at a single cell level, and screening tools to assess protein degradation. Additionally, my team has implemented Bayesian analytics methods that have been used for target discovery, biomarker development and population health assessment. I have published over 100 manuscripts and book chapters as well as more than 10 issued patents.
