BC/ISR Scientists at the ISWI meeting in Vienna

BC/ISR Director Pat Doherty (right) and Associate Director Keith Groves (left) attended the International Space Weather Initiative meeting in Vienna, Austria, last week. The meeting was held in conjunction at the UN in conjunction with the 57th Session of the Scientific and Technical Subcommittee for the Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (COPUOS). They also supported the presentation by Kazuo Shiokawa, President of SCOSTEP, the Scientific Committee on Solar-Terrestrial Physics. The ISR currently hosts the scientific secretariat of SCOSTEP and Doherty serves as the Scientific Secretary
