Addendees at the just-concluded Workshop on Ionospheric Forecasting for GNSS Operations in Developing Countries show off their BC caps! BC's ISR co-sponsored the workshop held in Trieste, Italy, which gave an introduction to the operations of Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) and the effects of ionospheric conditions on them. The workshop was organized by ISR Director Pat Doherty (front row, center) and ICTP's Sandro Radicelli and Bruno Nava. People from over 30 countries came to attend the workshop.

In addition to co-sponsoring and organizing the workshop, Pat Doherty presented a talk on Space Weather Effects on GNSS. ISR's Keith Groves (not shown) lectured on Ionospheric Irregularities and Scintillation and chaired the session on Thursday afternoon.
