Emerging Leader Program
The Emerging Leader Program (ELP) selects 50 first-year students annually for a year-long program that fosters leadership skills through activities, discussions, events, outings, service, and mentorship.

The Boston College Summit
The Boston College Summit is designed to empower all attendees by connecting them with a community of fellow classmates, speakers, and guests, and creating a space in which to share meaningful conversations.
Leadership Conferences
ACC Leadership Symposium
Each year a delegation of five undergraduate student leaders and a faculty/staff advisor from each ACC university gather for a three-day conference aimed at engaging students with peers across the conference to learn and share leadership strategies and knowledge regarding a specific social issue. Lodging and travel expenses are provided for each selected delegate. Each year the conference is hosted at a different ACC school. ACC conference is hosted early spring semester. Applications open in the fall.
NJSLC Conference
Each year, student leaders at the 27 Jesuit Universities in the United States gather for the National Jesuit Student Leadership Conference (NJSLC). NJSLC provides student leaders with collaborative opportunities to develop ideas, explore issues, and build stronger leadership skills to better serve their institutions in the Jesuit tradition. The conference is comprised of workshops, group discussions, social programming, service, and opening and closing banquets. Each year the conference is hosted at a different Jesuit institution. Applications open in April. Conference dates are in July.
