How have you been impacted by OSI events?

I am on the communications team for UGBC which has been super fulfilling getting to meet different offices and speak with different students about events they’re putting on. I also work for the Center for Student Wellness as a Peer Coach and have loved being a leader in that office and being a resource for students of all class years and walks of life.

OSI has opened my eyes to a world of opportunity to find the purpose I so desperately desired at BC.

How have you been impacted by OSI events, relationships, or leadership opportunities?
In re-establishing myself and my identity when I arrived at Boston College, I instantly pursued a number of clubs and organizations as a way to find purpose in my time on The Heights. I dove head-first into passions I already had as well as new experiences that intrigued me,

with the hopes that something would stick—and stick it has. Whether it be leadership positions in TEDx Boston College and UGBC, the community of SASA, or trips with BC Model UN, OSI has opened my eyes to a world of opportunity to find the purpose I so desperately desired at BC. I have gotten to experience the joy and fulfillment of watching my efforts come to fruition in both on-campus impact and outreach to the greater Boston area. Further, the relationships I have built with my peers, but also within the office, have encouraged me to continue engaging with others in a meaningful way. It is all of these wonderful experiences and wonderful people that have truly helped me make BC my home.

How have you been impacted by OSI events, relationships, or leadership opportunities?

The Fulton Leadership Society's leadership opportunities shaped my BC experience. As an underclassman, FLS encouraged me to always reach out to the upperclassman mentors, alumni, and professional resources offered. I was able to take initiative and be creative in all aspects of the organization, and am grateful for all it's provided me. Now, as the president, I get to be a part of the experiences of everyone in FLS and those who come to FLS events and see leadership through a new lens. Giving back to the same community that helped me is truly special.

How have you been impacted by OSI events, relationships, or leadership opportunities?

I started my BC experience in the Office of Student Involvement when I was hired to be a program ambassador, and I’ve been around ever since. Having joined the student orgs. FISTS and L'association

Haitienne in my sophomore year, I have had the opportunity to dance at major Boston College showcases such as Rookie Showcase and Showdown as well as integrate myself in BC's club culture. The experience has been nothing short of amazing; being able to represent the creativity, talent, and warmth of the BC student body has been a privilege. I am so grateful for the opportunity to be a part of something bigger than myself.
