About the Club

The Club Golf team is made up of competitive golfers looking to become a part of a team and improve their golf skills. We compete in the National Collegiate Club Golf Association (NCCGA) in the New England Region where we compete against other teams such as Boston University, Providence College, UMass Amherst, and many others. We compete in 2-3 regional tournaments bringing the top 8 or sometimes 16 scorers on the team usually in Massachusetts or Rhode Island, and possibly nationals if we qualify. Throughout the season we practice at Newton Commonwealth Golf Course which is across the street from campus. We stress and emphasize a collaborative environment but also a competitive environment throughout practice and tournaments to help everyone play and develop to their highest potential. Our team’s goal is to increase the presence of golf on campus and succeed together.
