Profile

Rabbi Lisa Eiduson, Ed.D. (she/her/hers), was born and raised in Shaker Heights, Ohio, in a family that has always valued religion, education, culture, and the arts. After graduating from Boston University where she studied with Elie Wiesel, Lisa received a Master’s degree and rabbinic ordination from the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion. Rabbi Eiduson has served as a congregational rabbi at Reform synagogues in Ohio, New York, and Massachusetts.

She is currently a rabbi and member of the clergy team at Temple Shir Tikva in Wayland, MA. Her responsibilities include teaching, leading services, officiating at life-cycle events, preaching, and programming. Rabbi Eiduson earned her doctorate from Northeastern University in Organizational Leadership Studies, where her dissertation was on the intersection of shared leadership and spiritual leadership in a professional synagogue staff team. Lisa believes deeply in education from cradle to grave and feels that learning, when applied, is the best avenue for promoting understanding among people. In addition to congregational work and teaching at Woods College, Dr. Eiduson has faculty appointments at Emerson College and Northeastern University. Lisa is married to Rabbi Joe Eiduson.
