The future of today’s student-athlete, especially today’s female student-athlete, is limitless when equipped with the right mindset and the right tools. I have made this the focus of my professional life as I work to empower them to maximize their short and long term opportunities while also developing and supporting sports leaders who are committed to preparing athletes for successful lives after sports. Through my company, Hilliard Solutions, my accomplished team of associates and I provide consulting, career coaching, athlete life skills programming and professional development solutions for sports leaders, athlete development professionals and educational and community organizations. The framework of athlete success is centered around our powerful 360-degree Athlete Development Model that identifies the key disciplines that impact the athlete’s life experience, provides direction for their comprehensive development, and equips sports leaders with the knowledge, tools, and resources necessary to prepare their athletes for successful experiences during and beyond their sports careers to ensure successful transitions.
I am also an author, adjunct professor, sports administration lecturer and public speaker, highly respected in both collegiate and professional sports sectors. I am most proud of the annual Women in Athlete Development Symposium & Networking Event I created and oversee that educates, prepares, and assists women seeking careers in the athlete development field.
