The STM hosted its third annual Night of the Arts celebration on April 25 in the Theology and Ministry Library’s atrium. The audience enjoyed a variety of ethnic dishes and performances by STM students and faculty that ranged from song to dance to interactive storytelling.

Tiffany Bradford and Matt Stewart, S.J., were the evening's emcees.

Joseph Harkins, son of STM Associate Professors Angela Kim Harkins and Franklin Harkins, performed Bach's "Gavotte in D Major" from Suzuki Book 3 on his violin.

Tadhg Malone performed two selections—"Ar Éirinn Ní Neosfainn Cé Hí" and "Derry Air"—played on the Uilleann pipes, the national bagpipe of Ireland.

Valerie Kisselback and Kyle Herrington brought more Irish culture to the evening with their Irish dance routines.

Jackie Regan, STM associate dean of student affairs and career services, performed "I Dreamed a Dream" from Les Misérables; Matt Stewart, S.J., accompanied her on the keyboard.

STM student Samuel Scheidt performed a powerful rendition of "Stars" from Les Misérables.

Mookie Manalili recited two original pieces of poetry—"Smile" and "So Tell Me..."—inspired by his own life experiences.

Miguel Melo, S.J., serenaded the audience with ballads, including "A Portuguese Romance."

This original piece of art, entitled "The Trinity," created by Chesirae Valentine, was one of many displayed along the atrium walls.

"Heavenly Sunset," painted by Denning Aaris, was another example of the talent on display at the event.
