Paul Melley is currently a fourth year Theology and Education Ph.D. student at the Clough School of Theology and Ministry at Boston College. His research interests include sacramentality and justice in religious education, practical theology, secularism, Karl Rahner, mystagogy, liturgy, and music. Paul is currently researching sacramentality as "deep structure" to education in faith. This includes the category of “experience” which serves to contribute to educating in faith. He is a published composer with GIA Publications and Oregon Catholic Press. His work is featured in five hymnals internationally, and he has released two popular collections with GIA: “Humbled,” and “God is Love.” He has held positions in ministry and administration in Catholic higher education and parish settings and spoken and performed around the world.
