Noël Ingram is a researcher, educator, and designer specializing in multimodal composition, community literacy, and activist rhetorics.
In the English department, Noël serves as co-Director of the Ph.D. Pedagogy Seminar with Kelly Gray. She also leads the English Graduate Student Writing Working Group.
With a decade’s experience teaching middle-school to adult learners, Noël is passionate about incorporating Universal Design for Learning, trauma-informed, and anti-racist assessment practices in her learning design. She also works as a Digital Pedagogy Consultant at the Center for Digital Innovation in Learning, where she facilitates faculty development across various modalities.
Originally from Sacramento, California, Noël holds an M.A. in American Studies from Pepperdine University and a B.A. in psychology with a minor in English from the University of California, Davis. She received her teaching certification from Loyola Marymount University through the LMU | Teach For America Partnership.
