

Noël Ingram is a Ph.D. candidate specializing in feminist rhetorics, literacy studies, and digital pedagogies. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in Teaching American Literature: A Journal of Theory and Practice, Beyond the Frontier: Innovations in First-Year Composition, and Bad Ideas about AI and Writing: Toward Generative Practices for Teaching, Learning, and Communication.
Noël has over a decade of experience working with learners ranging in age from middle school to adults. She’s taught everything from physical education to art but now mostly teaches courses in first-year composition, introductory literature, and design thinking. Outside of her doctoral work, Noël facilitates faculty development across various modalities on innovative pedagogies and consults with individual faculty members and departmental leadership on curricular design and program development with the Center for Digital Innovation in Learning. Originally from Sacramento, California, Noël holds a Master of Arts in American Studies from Pepperdine University and a Bachelor of Arts in psychology with a minor in English from the University of California, Davis. She received her teaching certification from Loyola Marymount University’s School of Education through the LMU | Teach For America partnership.
