People all over the world are helping grant the final wish of Dorian Murray, an 8-year-old stricken with terminal cancer who said "before I go to heaven, I want to be famous..."
Now, Boston College is doing its part to let the Westerly, RI, boy know he is famous on the Heights. Students John Walsh '17 and Lea Nelligan '18 organized hundreds of members of the University community to produce this video. Supported by The Church in the 21st Century Center and Agape Latte, Walsh, the video's producer and videographer, said filming and editing took four days and the goal was simple: "We just want Dorian to know his dream came true—to know that his courage has touched the hearts of BC and so many people around the world."
Karen Kiefer, who directs the popular Agape Latte lectures, is proud that students thought to use the power of the Agape Latte community to spread the word. "Our hope is that maybe this video will let the family know that Dorian remains in our hearts and prayers," she said.
