Meet Dan Creighton '18: a biochemistry major with an environmental studies minor in the Morrissey College of Arts and Sciences; a member of the Gabelli Presidential Scholars Program and a research assistant at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center; a Haley House volunteer, a GED tutor, and captain of the Boston College Division I Men's Swim Team.
As the winner of an ACC Weaver-James-Corrigan Award for performing with distinction in the classroom, in sports, and in the community, he was among 52 student-athletes from across the nation honored at the annual Cone Health ACC Postgraduate Scholarship Luncheon, presented by ESPN. Chosen to deliver a speech that day, Dan described what it meant to be "Happy, but never satisfied," a sentiment that captures the core of his student-athlete experience at Boston College, and which drives his desire to make a difference for others.
He shared his philosophy for this video during a week of practice routines and MCAT studies as a Boston College senior.
