Intermittent rain did not keep Santa Claus from making his annual appearance at the Heights to celebrate the lighting of the Christmas tree.

Befitting his VIP status, Santa had a BC Police escort to campus, followed by a full schedule of photographs with admirers of all ages.

The event on the Plaza at O’Neill Library on December 5th included caroling, performances by student musical groups, caricatures, ice sculpture, and other festivities to kick off the holiday season.

Scenes from the festivities, in a 360-degree video by Ravi Jain and photographs by Frank Curran, follow.
