On California Governor Gavin Newsom’s final day in China, California and Shanghai signed a new Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on fighting the climate crisis.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has issued its updated Process Safety Management of Highly Hazardous Chemicals Instruction.

The EPA has strengthened the annual health-based national ambient air quality standard for fine particulate matter from a level of 12 micrograms per cubic meter to 9 micrograms per cubic meter.

A bill signed by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis that removes all references to climate change in state legislation will go into effect July 1, 2024.
