Presenter: Kristin Colberg and Rafael Luciani
The presenters trace the origins of the synod on synodality to the reforms of Vatican II to the present moment and answer audience questions about the synod, including:
What is Pope Francis working to accomplish through the synod?
Who will be involved in the synod? How will the laity be involved?
Where are there signs of hope in the synodal process?
What is meant by decision making vs. decision taking in the synod?
What does Pope Francis mean by the Church developing a synodal style?
How do we make sense of the synod in a diocese where there appears to be resistance to it?
