Project Summary
For this project, the research team will use a mixed-methods approach to test the validity and reliability of the perceived racism-based police violence (RPV) exposure scales with a sample (N = 440) of African immigrant emerging adults aged 18-29 in the U.S. In addition, we will examine the prevalence of RPV exposure and associated adverse mental and behavioral health outcomes by sociodemographics.
