I graduated from Boston College Graduate School of Social Work in 2007 with a concentration in Health and Mental Health and have worked in several healthcare settings, including outpatient psychiatry, medical and surgical inpatient floors, and intensive care units. I specialize in working with adults facing healthcare crises, substance abuse, anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, workplace harassment, and interpersonal stress. I utilize a solution focused approach with CBT integrating psychodynamic theory and mindfulness.
I have worked as LICSW in inpatient settings at Boston Children's Hospital and Brigham and Women's Hospital, in the outpatient settings at Tufts Medical Center and Beth Israel Lahey Health, and have practiced independently in Boston since 2018 specializing in treatment of a spectrum of psychiatric disorders. I provide consultation, short term crisis intervention, long term therapy with the goal of optimizing coping strategies and serve as an Independent Contractor and Expert Witness for The Committee for Public Counsel.
