Alumna Thuc-Nhi Nguyen selected as a Health and Aging Policy Fellow

Thuc-Nhi was selected as a Health and Aging Policy Fellow by the New York State Psychiatric Institute at Columbia University. The Health and Aging Policy Fellows Program provides a unique opportunity for professionals in health and aging to gain the experience and skills necessary to make a positive contribution to the development and implementation of health policies that affect older Americans.

Thuc-Nhi is currently a postdoctoral scholar at the University of California, Davis, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. She is working on issues of global health and late-life depression-care, and Alzheimer’s disease (AD) and related dementias among older adults, focusing on environmental factors and social structures that contribute to these problems.
