WHO Presentation

Cara Antonaccio's research was presented last week at the Means of Verification for Monitoring and Evaluation conference at WHO in Geneva. She worked on this project with a colleague from the Department of Mental Health at JHU School of Public Health.

Their task was to identify the most valid and easily accessible quantitative and qualitative measurement tools (Means of Verification) to assess the presence of MH disorder and coping mechanisms of communities affected by humanitarian crises. Their recommendations are being presented to the international humanitarian mental health community as best practices for evaluating mental health status and program outcomes in humanitarian settings.
