Professor Christopher Salas-Wright recently published eight papers, including “Toward a typology of transnational communication among Venezuelan immigrant youth: Implications for behavioral health” in the Journal of Immigrant and Minority Health and “Cultural stress and substance use risk among Venezuelan migrant youth in the United States” in Substance Use & Misuse. He also published “Exposure to ethnic discrimination in social media and symptoms of anxiety and depression among Hispanic emerging adults: Examining the moderating role of gender” in the Journal of Clinical Psychology and “Cocaine use and overdose mortality in the United States: Evidence from two national studies, 2002-2018” in Drug and Alcohol Dependence.
