Piñeros-Leaño Studies How Latina Immigrant Mothers Make Feeding Decisions

Assistant Professor Maria Piñeros-Leaño and co-authors published “Feeding decision-making among first generation Latinas living in non-metropolitan and small metro areas” in PLOS ONE. Piñeros-Leaño also received a 2019 Outstanding Social Work Doctoral Dissertation Award Honorable Mention from the Society for Social Work and Research at their annual conference in San Francisco in January.
