Erika Sabbath and Cal Halverson receive funding from NIOS

Erika Sabbath and Cal Halverson, along with their colleagues at the Harvard Chan School of Public Health, have received funding from the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) for the Harvard Center for Work, Health and Wellbeing. The multi-million dollar center encompasses four research studies, including the flagship study led by Erika and a new developmental study led by Cal. Erika's study (the Boston Hospital Workers Study) will focus on strategies to improve the health and wellbeing of the entire hospital workforce (i.e., not limited to bedside clinicians). Cal' s study will investigate how access to workplace benefits and policies affects older worker's health and wellbeing.
