Boston College reached the octo-finals in the Junior Varsity division of the ADA Fall Championship Tournament hosted by Wake Forest and held on-line during November 13-15, 2020.
A partial list of teams competing in the tournament included Emory, George Mason, New York University, Purdue, University of Minnesota, University of Georgia, the University of Texas, and Wyoming.
Debating for Fulton Debate in the Liberty Tournament was Sophia Carter,’22 and Anderson Zhang’23. During the preliminary rounds, Carter & Zhang compiled a 4-2 record, defeating teams from the University of Georgia, Missouri State, Liberty, and Michigan State.
In the octo-finals, Boston College met the University of Minnesota. Boston College won the automated coin flip and decided to debate on the affirmative side. In a close decision, the judges voted for Minnesota in a 2-1 decision.
In the final round, George Mason defeated Liberty.
