Being born in a fishing community in Kanyakumari, Christ called Keni to become his disciple through the vocation of priesthood. He was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Delhi on May 17, 2010. His goal as a priest has been to concretize the love of Christ among the marginalized and less privileged through social service initiatives, education, the preaching of the Gospel, and the ministry of the sacraments.
He completed his Licentiate in Theological Ethics (S.T.L.) from Dharmaram Vidyakshetram, India and his Masters in Business Administration from the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India University (ICFAI).
Currently he is pursuing his Doctorate in Theological Ethics with a specialization in biomedical ethics. His future dissertation aims to articulate a critical study of the health industry as an agent of medical consumerism on the wake of Covid pandemic and the vaccine mandate.
Keni looks forward to engaging in theological research and teaching in order to contribute to Catholic theology internationally from the contextual standpoint of an Indian theologian.
