Alex d’Entremont is a first-year doctoral student in systematic theology. With a background in analytic philosophy and religious studies, his approach to theology is both philosophical and comparative in nature.
He is interested in the theology of language, especially as that concerns theological methodology, problems of religious language, the development of doctrine, and the doctrine of God. Among his interlocutors are figures such as Thomas Aquinas, Ludwig Wittgenstein, David Burrell, and Bernard Lonergan.
Alex hails originally from central Pennsylvania in the Susquehanna Valley region. He earned his bachelor’s degree from New York University and his master’s degree from Boston College. In his free time, he spends time outdoors, supports his local public library, and enjoys watching baseball.
