A 2019 two-day event celebrated the life and work of Dr. M. Shawn Copeland, Professor of Theology and African and African Diaspora Studies at Boston College, who retired at the end of this academic year.
Copeland has made an extraordinary impact on the interdisciplinary fields of Theological Anthropology, Black Catholic Studies, Lonergan Studies, Womanist Theology, Political Theology, Decolonial Theory, and Christian Spirituality, to name only a few.
