Professor Moorman Coauthors Multiple Articles about How the Pandemic has Influenced Gerontologists' Usual Areas of Study

Sara Moorman, Associate Professor of Sociology, with collaborators Kathrin Boerner at UMass Boston and Deborah Carr at Boston University, have published two timely articles about how the pandemic has influenced gerontologists' usual areas of study. Their first article pertains to how COVID-19, both the disease and the social response, has changed bereavement. Their second article focuses on recommended changes to advanced care planning (ACP) because ACP was not created to respond to acute diseases like COVID-19. Congrats Professor Moorman!
