Biography

Sydney Rothka is currently an MA student, and her research interests revolve around early modern Europe and the Atlantic world. She is interested in Indigenous and colonial history, the history of religion, and women and gender studies.

Sydney received her Bachelor's degrees in History, Psychology, and Film Production from Penn State in 2023. Her Master’s research focuses on Indigenous and European relations in the Mid-Atlantic region during the 16th and 17th centuries, specifically among the Lenape, Susquehannock, Dutch, Swedish, English, and French.
