I am a passionate climate scientist dedicated to understanding extreme weather phenomena and their broader societal implications. My research focuses on using pseudo-warming simulations to study extreme weather events, including precipitation and heat events, to better predict and mitigate their impacts. I am also deeply interested in the intersection of climate science and justice, striving to address inequities exacerbated by climate change. As a proud first-generation college graduate from Williams College with a degree in Geosciences, I chose Boston College for my postgraduate studies because of its strong emphasis on interdisciplinary research and its commitment to addressing global challenges. The collaborative environment and opportunities to engage with a diverse academic community make it an ideal place for me to pursue my passion for climate science and advocacy.
