I'm a first years masters student here at BC and I just finished up my undergrad at Michigan State University this past summer. I'm still working on finalizing my area of research with my advisor but I'm excited about several protentional projects focused on the deformation of the lithosphere and the processes that play a role in it. My undergraduate research focused on the geochemistry of Basalts from the East African Rift system. Outside of school I generally spend my time outside, some of my hobbies include hiking, skiing, running and backpacking. I'm also an avid collector of loose leaf teas and cool rocks.
Why did you choose Boston College for your postgraduate work?
I chose Boston college because of the connections I made with faculty and students during my visits to the school. I'm excited about the many opportunities that Boston college provides for its students. I'm also looking forward to building my skills as an educator and a researcher during my time here.
