Language Placement Exams 2019

The Department of Slavic and Eastern Languages and Literatures will no longer be conforming to a “one-day language placement” schedule. Instead the placement tests will be administered at times that the proctors themselves will arrange with interested students. 

For the following languages, arrange appointments as follows:

• Chinese, Prof. Lydia Chiang or Prof. Fang Lü,
• Korean, Prof. Seung Hee Jeon,
• Japanese, Mrs. Ritsuko Sullivan,
• Modern Greek, Dr. Andreas Triantafyllou,
• Near Eastern (Arabic, Farsi, Hebrew), Prof. Franck Salameh or Prof. Atef Ghobrial (for Arabic only),
• Russian, Polish, Ukrainian and Bulgarian, Prof. Tony Lin.
