Boston College Students win big at the the Annual Japanese Language Contest

We are very happy to announce that four students from our Japanese Program, under the excellent guidance of our Japanese faculty Ritsuko sensei, Cheung sensei, and Asako sensei, have earned top awards from this year's annual Japanese Language Contest sponsored by Consulate General of Japan in Boston.
The final round of the competition took place on Saturday, Apr. 7.

Jooghwa Byeon (2019) won the First place in the Intermediate Speech Division
Hang Yin (2020) won the Third place in the Advanced Speech Division
Fengshu Yang (2018) won the Second place in the Advanced Speech Division
Nero Cao (2018) won the Second place in the Elementary Essay Division 

Other winners came from Bowdoin College, Northeastern University, Brown University, and Middlebury College, etc.
