Two Korean Language Students Win Awards in Regional Speech Competition: An Announcement of the Boston College Korean Language Program

On November 13, 2021, three students from Boston College participated in the Second New England Korean Speech Contest, held by the New England Association of College Korean Educators.

A total of 30 students competed in the event, representing 10 colleges, including Boston College, Brown University, Harvard University, Middlebury College, MIT, and Wellesley College.

The Boston College Korean Language program is happy to announce that Eunice Kang, currently a student in the Advanced Korean 1 course, won the Grand Prize, and Marsha Zheng, currently in Introduction to Korean: Accelerated, won second prize in the beginnerâ s level. We congratulate them, as well as the other participants and winners. We want to share their achievements with the Boston College community, and to wish them well in their future studies and endeavors.
